
Liberty Finishes Non-Conference Schedule with Match at No. 1 Wake Forest

LYNCHBURG, VA. – The Liberty Flames men's soccer team will finish the non-conference portion of its 2025 schedule when it travels to Winston-Salem, N.C., for a match against the No. 1 Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Monday at Spry Stadium.
The Flames will face a nationally-ranked team for the second straight game on Monday, after falling to No. 21 UNCG at Osborne Stadium on Friday. The loss was Liberty's first of the season.
Liberty enters the match with a 4-1-2 record. Wake Forest, which dropped its first game of the season Friday at Virginia, is 4-1-3 on the year.

- Liberty enters the match outscoring its opponents, 19-6, on the season. The Flames have allowed 0.86 goals per game.
- Midfielder Aidan Morrison scored his third goal of the season Friday evening against UNCG, a career-high for the sophomore. He scored two goals during his freshman season in 2024.
- Defender Lucas Kelly leads Liberty in scoring with nine points and goals with four.
- Freshman forward Jayden Ramos recorded his third assist of the season on Morrison's goal on Friday. Ramos is tied with defender Perry Blay for the team lead in assists.
- Tyler Beck has played every minute in goal this season for the Flames. The sophomore has posted a 0.86 goals-against average and a .800 save percentage. He has three shutouts.
- Defender Carlos Trott was selected the Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 16. It is the second time this season the senior was voted the OVC Defensive Player of the Week. He was also Co-OVC Defensive Player of the Week for Aug. 26.
