LYNCHBURG, Va. – A total of six Liberty field hockey players have been tabbed to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Watchlist.
Liberty's NFHCA Watchlist recipients include: senior Lou Combrinck, sophomore Dara Semmartin, freshman Paris-Gail Isaacs, junior Maite Altamirano, freshman Julieta Tornati and freshman Diane Saint Martin.
The NFHCA Watchlist represents top collegiate student-athletes who are early contenders for this year's NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams, as nominated by their member coach.
To be nominated for the NFHCA Watchlist, the student-athlete must have been previously recognized for their outstanding field hockey abilities within the past two years for any of the following: NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-American, All-Conference, NCAA All-Tournament Team, USA Field Hockey Senior Nexus Championship Roster, U.S. National Field Hockey Team roster and/or International National Team roster (for their home country of origin).
A total of 195 student-athletes from 64 Division I institutions were named to the 2025 NFHCA Watchlist.
