
Lacrosse Features 11 on IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, Recognized as an Honor Squad

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty lacrosse and 11 Lady Flames qualified for the 2024-25 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad and Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Liberty's Brooke Beard, Jenna Burrow, Katie Colavito, Kendall Coss, Delaney Donohue, Karlie Hickson, Madeleine Klunder, Mackenzie Lehman, Kendall Nye, Allie Rhoades and Kate Troutman were included on the 2025 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.
Lehman, a fifth-year senior in 2025, received her third consecutive selection to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. Troutman is the only student-athlete to receive recognition for a second straight year.
Colavito and Lehman each received four academic post-season awards this summer. The two were both selected to the 2025 ASUN All-Academic team, the 2025 Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal, the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team and now the 2024-25 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
To qualify for IWLCA Honor Roll recognition, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior, or graduate student (by athletic eligibility) and have earned a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher. The IWLCA honored 1,176 student-athletes from 124 different institutions on the 2024-25 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.
Additionally, the team earned IWLCA Academic Honor Squad distinction for the seventh consecutive year. To qualify for the prestigious honor of IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, a team must have posted a 3.20 grade-point average (GPA) or higher for the academic year. Liberty achieved a 3.62 GPA during the 2024-25 school year. The IWLCA named 383 schools across Division I, II, III and NAIA as 2024-25 IWLCA Academic Honor Squads.
