Liberty's Ike Joy, Josh Ryan and Michael Lugiano were all honored on Friday by Conference USA for their play on the course during the 2024-25 season.
Joy was one of five conference players named to the 2025 All-CUSA first-team all-conference listing. Similarly, Ryan was one of five players named to the 2025 All-CUSA third-team all-conference group.
Lugiano was one of the top freshmen in the league and was named to the 2025 All-CUSA Freshman team.
This is the first all-conference honor of Joy's career at Liberty. The redshirt junior currently leads the Flames with a 71.08 season stroke average, which lowered his career stroke average to 72.56 this season.
The native of Denver, N.C., has played 15-of-24 rounds at par or better (62.5 percent) and has posted eight sub-70 rounds during the 2024-25 campaign.
Joy will continue his season next week at the NCAA Amherst Regional in Amherst, Va., an event Liberty is hosting at Poplar Grove Golf Club. Joy, who is ranked No. 162 in the country, earned at at-large selection to the NCAA Regional field this season.
This is the third-straight season Ryan has earned all-conference accolades. He was named to the CUSA first-team all-conference listing last year and was an ASUN first-team all-conference selection in 2023.
Ryan finished the 2024-25 season with a 71.96 stroke average, which ranked second on Liberty's roster. The native of Norristown, Pa., also played 12-of-24 rounds at par or better and posted six sub-70 rounds during his junior season.
Lugiano finished the year with a 73.00 stroke average and played 10-of-27 rounds at par or better. He currently leads the Flames on the season with 90 birdies.
The native of Jackson Township, Pa., hosted three top-25 finishes during the rookie's first season on the Mountain. This included a victory at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate in February where he posted a winning score of 9-under par 207.
