
Men’s Tennis Sets Off for Trio of Road Matches

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty men's tennis team prepares for a three-match road trip beginning Tuesday at Old Dominion (1 p.m.), taking on Dartmouth Friday at 6 p.m. and Yale on Sunday at 11 a.m. Sunday's match at Yale will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The Flames (3-3) will face ODU (4-4), Dartmouth (5-3) and Yale (5-3) for the second consecutive season. Liberty topped the No. 42 Monarchs, 5-2 (March 8), bested No. 65 Dartmouth (Feb. 23) and fell to Yale 4-3 (on Feb. 11). Liberty owns a 4-1 all-time record against ODU and met Dartmouth and Yale for the first time last season.
Liberty prepares for its first set of true road games this season. Its only previous matches away from Lynchburg were neutral site matches at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Fort Worth, Texas. The Flames split two matches with a 4-0 loss to No. 17 Michigan State (Jan. 25) and a 4-1 triumph over Pacific (Jan. 26) at the event.
The Flames look to get back on track following a hard-fought 5-2 loss to Charlotte on Feb. 7.
