"4 Downs" with Kennesaw State
Â
#1 Liberty gave Kennesaw State its first-ever Big South Conference loss, Oct. 24, 2015 in Lynchburg and Kennesaw State gave Liberty its first-ever Conference USA loss, Oct. 23, 2024 in Kennesaw. On Saturday, Liberty will attempt to play the role of spoiler with Kennesaw State needing a victory to clinch its first berth in the CUSA Football Championship Game.
Â
#2 Liberty is coming off back-to-back overtime losses at FIU and LA Tech. The Flames have never played three overtime games in a single season in program history. Evan Dickens has rushed for 200 or more yards in two of his last four games, making him the first Flame with a pair of 200-yard rushing games in a season since Dre Barnes in 2003. No Flame has ever posted a trio of 200-yard games on the ground in a single season.
Â

Billingsley's 15 field goals made are tied for fourth in a single season in program history.
Â
#4 The Flames are in search of their fourth win at Williams Stadium this season. Liberty has notched four or more home victories for 19 straight years entering 2025, tallying a 98-23 home record since the start of the 2006 campaign.
