
Liberty Lacrosse Releases 2026 Schedule

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty women's lacrosse and head coach Kelly Nangle have announced the team's 2026 schedule.
Liberty opens the season at home against its 2025 NCAA Championship first round opponent, Johns Hopkins on Feb. 7.
The Lady Flames prepare to defend their Atlantic Sun championship title in Jacksonville Fla., beginning on April 28. The championship expands to eight teams and three rounds following the additions of ASUN newcomers Austin Peay and Delaware. Liberty will visit Austin Peay on March 21 and wrap the regular season at home against Delaware on April 22.
Liberty opens the season with four consecutive home games, including the season-opener against Johns Hopkins. The Lady Flames will also welcome Davidson (Feb. 15), Virginia (Feb. 18) and Richmond (Feb. 28). After a local trip to Longwood on March 4, Liberty will host JMU on March 11.
The team takes on a three-game road stint with a contest at High Point (March 14) before it kicks off ASUN action with a trip to Lindenwood (March 19) and Austin Peay (March 21).
Liberty hosts four ASUN contests, including Stetson (March 26) and Jacksonville (March 28). Liberty's final two non-conference games will be at USF (April 2) and hosting Notre Dame (April 6).
The Lady Flames will look to defend their first-ever ASUN title following a 12-8 record and a 5-1 ASUN mark. The ASUN Women's Lacrosse Championship expands to three rounds in Jacksonville, Fla. The event begins with the quarterfinals on April 28, the semifinal round on April 30 with a champion being crowned on May 2.
Liberty plans to return nine starters from last season, including 2025 ASUN Midfielder of the Year, Katie Colavito and ASUN Defender of the Year, Jenna Burrow.
