
Colavito Named the ASUN Offensive Player of the Week

Liberty midfielder Katie Colavito was tabbed the Atlantic Sun Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Colavito paved the way for a split week with nine goals, including four against No. 19 Notre Dame.
Liberty boasts its third ASUN Player of the Week selection this season. Sophia Nesci (March 23) took home the offensive honor, while Rachel Hines (April 6) received the defensive award.

The 2026 ASUN Preseason Midfielder of the Year received her second career player of the week honor. Colavito was named the 2025 ASUN midfielder of the Year and the ASUN Championship MVP.

Colavito recorded four goals in a home loss against No. 19 Notre Dame to begin the week on Monday (April 6). She followed that output with five goals in a crucial 17-4 home triumph, on Senior Day. Her nine goals came via 13 total shots, with 10 going on frame.

The senior is tied for the team lead with 33 goals (Nesci). Additionally, she paces the squad with 30 caused turnovers and 32 ground balls (tied with Madeleine Klunder).
