
Women’s Soccer Wraps Regular Season at Home Against Sam Houston

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty Lady Flames soccer team (10-3-4, 5-0-2 CUSA) prepares to conclude the 2025 regular season with a home matchup against Sam Houston (8-4-2, 5-1-1 CUSA) on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Osborne Stadium and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
With a victory on Sunday, Liberty (17 points) will receive at least a share of the 2025 Conference USA Regular Season Championship. The team will await the result of Western Kentucky (17 points) vs. Jacksonville State, which also kicks off at 1 p.m., to learn its seed in the CUSA Women's Soccer Championship. The Lady Flames are set to host the CUSA Women's Soccer Championship from Nov. 2-7 at Osborne Stadium.
Liberty is coming off a crucial road victory with a 2-0 shutout win at Delaware on Sunday. The victory secured the Lady Flames an unbeaten 6-0-2 record on the road this season. The team has not lost a regular-season road game in the past three regular seasons. Its last loss was on Sept. 11, 2022, a 3-2 defeat at Pitt.
