Liberty Secures Third Consecutive Unbeaten Road Regular Season with 2-0 Win at Delaware

NEWARK, Del. – Liberty women's soccer (10-3-4, 5-0-2 CUSA) clinched an unbeaten road regular season (6-0-2) with a 2-0 win at Delaware (10-2-4, 3-2-2 CUSA) on Sunday afternoon. The victory also held Liberty's seat atop the CUSA standings (17 points) with one game remaining in the regular season.
Liberty continues its dominance away from Lynchburg. Since 2023, Liberty's first year in CUSA, the Lady Flames are 22-0-5 on the road in the regular season.
The Lady Flames picked up their fifth consecutive victory on Sunday. All wins have come in CUSA action. Liberty improves to 4-1 all-time against Delaware, including three straight wins since 2023.
Following a scoreless first half, Ivy Garner opened the scoring in the 47th minute. Garner headed a ball in the goal box off a high feed from Bri Myers. The score pushed her league-leading total to 9 goals and 24 points this season.
The Lady Flames added a second tally in the 58th minute. Junior defender Lauren Littleton scored her first career goal, deflecting a shot from Lauren Flax after a corner attempt was deflected directly to the freshman.
