
Liberty to Face USC Upstate on Road

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Friday, the Liberty Flames men's soccer team will travel to Spartanburg, S.C., for a match against the USC Upstate Spartans. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m. at County University Soccer Stadium.
The Flames enter the contest with a 1-1-1 record on the season. This past Sunday, Georgia State edged Liberty 2-1 at Osborne Stadium.
USC Upstate (1-3) will host its second home game of the season on Friday night. The Flames and Spartans met last season at Osborne Stadium, with Liberty winning 4-1.

- Liberty was picked to finish second in the OVC standings behind SIUE in the conference's preseason poll. For the second straight season, Eberle was named an OVC Player to Watch.
