HARRISONBURG, Va. – The James Madison Dukes defeated the Liberty 2-0 in a non-conference men's soccer match Saturday at Sentara Stadium.
Looking to build upon last week's road win at USC Upstate, the Flames played the Dukes to a 0-0 draw during the first half, only to see their hosts take a 1-0 lead five minutes into the second off a free kick by defender Yanis Lenlin.
James Madison tacked on a goal late in the game for the final score.
Liberty goalkeeper Owen Moore made a career-high eight saves in the contest. The junior turned away six shots in the first and two in the second half.
The Flames fall to 2-2-1 on the year. The Dukes remain unbeaten with a 2-0-3.
