LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty women's lacrosse team prepares for a Thursday afternoon meeting with Louisville. First draw is set for noon from the Liberty Lacrosse Field.
Liberty (3-5) looks to respond from a 12-5 loss at Arizona State on March 13 when it takes on Louisville (4-5) Thursday. The Lady Flames were handled in the first half against the Sun Devils, getting outscored 10-2. Liberty answered, finding its game with a 3-2 scoring advantage in the second half.
Nearing the midway point of the 2024 season, Liberty looks for key production from its midfielders, primarily in controlling the possession by winning draw controls. Katie Colavito (36 draw controls), Mackenzie Lehman (30) and Olivia Glaze (11 draw controls) have stood out this season. The Lady Flames look toward their depth including Katie Rodriguez, Kendall Coss and Ava Menna for added production.
