Liberty Shuts Out Quinnipiac to Open 2024

Every Flame in the batting order had at least one hit and four pitchers combined for the shutout.
In his first collegiate start, Liberty right-hander Cole Hertzler pitched six innings to record the win, scattering five hits and striking out seven. He did not walk a batter.
Right fielder Camden Troyer led the Flames with three hits, including a three-run home run, and scored three times. Liberty designated hitter Todd Hudson had two hits and also belted a three-run home run.
Liberty moves to 1-0 on the year. Quinnipiac drops to 0-1.
