ST. CHARLES, MO. – The Lindenwood Lions scored the game's only goal to edge the Liberty Flames 1-0, Friday evening at Hunter Stadium in an Ohio Valley Conference match.

With both teams playing tight defense, shots were at a premium on the night. The host Lions scored during the 15^th minute and held the Flames in check for the victory.

The contest was Liberty's final road match of the regular season. The Flames fall to 5-3 in the OVC and 7-6-1 overall. Lindenwood moves to 4-2-2 in conference and 8-5-3 overall.
