ST. CHARLES, MO. – The Lindenwood Lions scored the game's only goal to edge the Liberty Flames 1-0, Friday evening at Hunter Stadium in an Ohio Valley Conference match.
With both teams playing tight defense, shots were at a premium on the night. The host Lions scored during the 15th minute and held the Flames in check for the victory.
The contest was Liberty's final road match of the regular season. The Flames fall to 5-3 in the OVC and 7-6-1 overall. Lindenwood moves to 4-2-2 in conference and 8-5-3 overall.
