Lady Flames Complete Day 1 Against ECU

LYNCHBURG, Va. - Liberty claimed a pair of second-place finishes in diving action against East Carolina, Friday at Liberty Natatorium.
With Liberty's swimmers competing at a pair of schools (Gardner-Webb, Campbell) this weekend which do not have divers, the Lady Flames' divers are hosting ECU's diving contingent this weekend.

Liberty's divers will finish this weekend's meet against ECU, with one-meter diving beginning at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow. The Lady Flames' swimmers will compete at Campbell tomorrow at 11 a.m.

- Fr. Chloe LaCount – Three-meter (6) (8th place in 225.60)
- Jr. Sarah Simpson – Three-meter (6) (9th place in 188.70)
- So. Elizabeth Mumau – Platform (5) (2nd place in 156.98)
- ECU claimed victory on both three-meter (Frida Zuniga Guzman – NCAA Zone-Qualifying 313.58) and platform (Flanary Patterson – 189.15).
- The Lady Flames got season-best three-meter scores from both Maddie Freece (253.20) and Grace Gooding (243.75).
- Liberty took the second (Tuohy), third (Herndon) and fourth (Freece) spots in three-meter diving and second (Mumau) on platform.
- Liberty and ECU have squared off in diving each of the last three seasons.
