Liberty Prepares for Road Matches at Queens, Marshall

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty Women's soccer team looks to continue its perfect 6-0 season facing consecutive road tests at Queens (1-3-1) Thursday and Marshall (4-0-1) Sunday. Match times are set for 6 p.m. Thursday at the Queens Sports Complex and 1 p.m. Sunday at the Hoops Family Field.
The Lady Flames seek to extend their Division I leading 19 game unbeaten streak. Liberty's last regulation defeat was on Sept. 11, 2022 at Pitt (3-2). The squad has secured at least a tie in each of its last eight road contests.
Liberty has won its only meeting with Queens in program history, a 2-0 win in Lynchburg last season. The Lady Flames seek to even the score against Marshall, having went 1-2-1 in previous matchups. Liberty topped Marshall 3-2 at Osborne Stadium in 2022.

- Holland netted the game-winner vs West Virginia on Sunday. She has two goals and an assist this season for five points.
- Liberty has outscored its opponents, 13-3, in 2023. Hansford and Ivy Garner lead the team with three goals.
- The Liberty defense lead the CUSA in goals allowed. Liberty has allowed just o.50 goals per game in 2023.
- Two Lady Flames, Leja and Rebekah Earnest, have played every minute this season.
