
Liberty Rolls Past Bellarmine 12-2

The Liberty Flames eased by the Bellarmine Knights 12-2 in eight innings, Friday afternoon at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
Shortstop Cam Foster and second baseman Gray Betts each had three hits apiece in the contest. Foster belted his team-leading 11th home run and drove in three runs in the contest. Meanwhile, Betts scored three times and knocked in a run for the Flames.
Liberty first baseman Brayden Horton also homered in the contest, his sixth of the year. In the contest, he reached base four times, two hits and two walks, and scored three times.
Right fielder Camden Troyer joined Horton with two hits and drove in a game-high four runs.
With the win, the Flames take the ASUN series and extend their winning streak to four in a row. Liberty ups its ASUN record to 16-13 and improves its overall record to 26-27. Bellarmine falls to 7-22 in conference play and 12-42 overall.
