Liberty Blanks UNF 6-0, Sweeping Series

Liberty completed a three-game series sweep, as sophomore Paige Bachman tossed a four-hit shutout in a 6-0 victory over North Florida on Saturday at UNF Softball Complex.
The Lady Flames improve to 25-13, 10-2 in ASUN play with their seventh win in a row overall. Meanwhile, UNF (19-18, 2-10) sustained its eighth straight loss.

- Liberty outhit UNF 10-4 for the game, with both teams committing one error. The Ospreys left eight runners on base while the Lady Flames stranded seven. The hosts turned two inning-ending double plays early in the game.
- Bachman (7-6) earned her third shutout of the season and second in ASUN play, allowing four hits and three walks while striking out two.
- Ashley Connor (7-11) drew the loss, allowing three runs on four hits in one inning of relief after starter Izzy Kelley pitched three scoreless innings. A total of five Ospreys pitched.

Turning Point
- UNF had a runner at third with less than two outs in both the first and fourth innings, but Bachman worked through trouble in both frames to keep the game scoreless.
- Wilson broke the tie with a solo homer in the fifth, sparking a three-run inning as the Lady Flames did all of their scoring from the fifth inning on.
