Williams Places 25th in Penn Relays Women’s 400 Hurdles

Liberty’s lone athlete to compete on Thursday, the opening day of the 127th Penn Relays, Jasmine Williams finished 25th in the women’s 400 hurdles at Franklin Field.
Contesting the 400 hurdles for just the second time as a Lady Flame, Williams posted a time of 1:01.76. That was good for seventh place in her heat and 25th overall out of 32 competitors.
Williams will next race in multiple relays on Friday during Liberty’s first Penn Relays appearance since 2017.
