
Liberty Rolls Past VMI 4-0

The Liberty Flames blanked the VMI Keydets 4-0 Tuesday evening at Osborne Stadium.
Controlling play for most of the evening, the Flames jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half and added another during the second in the victory.
Marko Mitrevski, Seth Clark and Gabe Findley each scored first-half goals for the Flames, while Liberty leading scorer Luke Eberle netted his sixth goal of the season in the second. Clark also assisted on two goals in the contest for a four-point evening.
The shutout was the Flame's fourth of 2022. All four of Liberty shutouts have come at home this season.
With a victory in the non-conference matchup, Liberty extends its unbeaten streak to four games (1-0-3). The Flames moved to 3-3-5 on the season. VMI drops to 2-9-1.
