Field Hockey Receives 2020 NFHCA National Academic Team Award

The Liberty field hockey program received the 2020 NFHCA National Academic Team Award, it was announced on Monday.
The Lady Flames are receiving the honor for achieving a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher during the first semester of the 2020-21 school year. Liberty, which posted a 3.63 GPA as a team, was one of 79 Division I programs to earn the recognition. The Lady Flames have received the honor in each of the first 10 years of the program's existence.
Liberty also featured 17 student-athletes on the NFHCA National Academic Squad, March 18. The Lady Flames' Lexi Hosler, Reagan Underwood and Maddie Vicars were tabbed NFHCA Scholars of Distinction, last Friday.
The NFHCA has one final award to announce, the NFHCA Division I National Scholar-Athlete on June 15.
