
Liberty Tops Villanova in 18-13 Slugfest

Liberty built a 15-2 lead through four innings before Villanova scored 11 fifth-inning runs to narrow the gap to 15-13. The Lady Flames responded with three runs in the sixth, pulling away for the 18-13 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium.
The Lady Flames (9-4) improved to 3-0 at the Liberty Softball Classic, while the Wildcats (0-4) have lost each of their first four games this weekend.
