The Starting 5 - Liberty's Top Storylines
• Liberty (15-11, 8-5 ASUN) will host North Florida (14-13, 7-7 ASUN) Monday for Senior Night and the final regular-season game in Vines Center history.
• The home team has won all four previous meetings between Liberty and North Florida, including the Ospreys' 65-50 home triumph four weeks ago (Jan. 27).
• With only three regular-season games remaining, Liberty is on the verge of securing a home game for the ASUN Championship quarterfinal round for the second straight season.
• Keyen Green, the 2018 Big South Player of the Year, is making a successful return from an ankle injury which sidelined her for the entire 2018-19 season. She will be one of two players recognized during Senior Night, along with Kierra Johnson-Graham. Green needs 14 points to become one of the top 10 scorers in program history.
• Emily Lytle matched her season high with 20 points during a victory over Stetson on Saturday. She has knocked down 21 three-pointers during the last seven games and has hit 13 triples in four previous meetings with the Ospreys.
Notes and Anecdotes - Liberty vs. North Florida
• The home team has won all four meetings in the head-to-head series between Liberty and North Florida.
• The Ospreys posted a 65-50 home win over the Lady Flames four weeks ago (Jan. 27). Since then, the two teams have gone in different directions. Liberty is 4-2 in its last six games, including a current three-game winning streak. Conversely, North Florida is just 2-5 since defeating the Lady Flames.
• After losing to Lipscomb on its Senior Day Saturday, North Florida will try to spoil Liberty's Senior Night Monday. The Lady Flames have won on Senior Night during each of the last three seasons.
• North Florida was the most recent team to outrebound Liberty, doing so by a 42-33 margin. The Lady Flames have since won the rebounding battle in six straight games. Monday's game will feature three of the top five rebounders in ASUN play, including the Ospreys' duo of Adrienne Jackson (No. 1, 10.9 rpg) and Jazz Bond (No. 4, 8.8 rpg) and Liberty's Keyen Green (No. 5, 8.8 rpg).
• Both Liberty (founded in 1971) and North Florida (founded in 1972) are less than 50 years old.
• First-year Liberty Athletic Trainer Laura Mancuso is a 2013 graduate of North Florida.
What's at Stake?
• With a win on Monday, Liberty would be in no worse than a tie for second place in the ASUN standings heading to the final two dates of conference play.
• Liberty is currently tied with Jacksonville and North Alabama for second place in the ASUN. The top four seeds will host quarterfinal games on March 7, with the top two remaining seeds hosting semifinals on March 11.
• The Lady Flames need to win two of their final three regular-season games to finish with 10+ conference victories for the 21st consecutive season. The streak began during Carey Green's first season as head coach (1999-2000), when Liberty went 12-2 in the Big South.
