
Skirrow, Brabrand Shine in 5-1 Win

Right-handers Noah Skirrow and Evan Brabrand combined to hold the visiting North Carolina A&T in check, as the Liberty Flames turned back the Aggies 5-1, Thursday evening at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
Skirrow allowed one run on five hits over 6 2/3 innings, striking out eight batters. Brabrand came on with two outs in the seventh and yielded just two hits the rest of the way.
Liberty catcher Jonathan Embry had two hits, a double and two RBI in the non-conference contest.
The Flames move to 28-9 on the season. The Aggies fall to 19-17.
