Liberty Head Coach Carey Green Quotes
"Our locker room was certainly disappointed. We didn't do enough things right and we continued not shooting the ball very well. We've got to be able to play a lot of aspects much better. The third quarter was a big quarter for them. In that quarter, they shot 12 free throws and made 10. At the end of the day, our inability to attack and get to the foul line and finish shots were major factors in the game."
Notes and Nuggets
• Bridgette Rettstatt's consecutive double-doubles are the first two of her career. She is the first Lady Flame to record back-to-back double-doubles since Keyen Green had three in a row between Dec. 29, 2016 and Jan. 7, 2017.
• Rettstatt has led the Lady Flames in both points and rebounds in all three ASUN Conference games.
• Ria Gulley's five assists were a game high and marked her fourth game of 5+ helpers this season.
• KK Barbour pulled down four rebounds, leaving her eight away from 500 for her career.
• Ashtyn Baker's streak of 19 straight games with a steal came to an end. The sophomore point guard played only 10 minutes before leaving due to injury in the second quarter.
• Jacksonville snapped Liberty's nine-game streak of winning the rebounding battle.
• Liberty has lost all five of its matchups with teams from Florida this season (Bethune-Cookman, FGCU, Jacksonville, Stetson and UCF), including all three of its ASUN tilts.
