
Liberty's Seniors Lead the Way in Victory over North Florida

In the final game of the regular season, Liberty women's soccer relied on its seniors to come up clutch and on Senior Day at Osborne Stadium, the veteran group delivered. The Lady Flames would have to come from behind and score two goals in the second half from a pair of seniors, giving Liberty the 2-1 win over North Florida.

Turning Point
Midway through the second half Liberty turned the corner, outshooting North Florida 11-3 in the second half. The Lady Flames' backline did not allow a single shot on goal in the second half as Weygandt recorded three points with a goal and an assist in the second half to pull out the come-from-behind victory.

Up Next
Liberty will enter next week's ASUN Conference Championship as the fifth seed and face the No. 4 seed, FGCU. The Lady Flames will face the Eagles on Friday, Oct. 26, and if they win they would face the No. 1 seed in the tournament, which is yet to be determined.
