WBB Update with Keyen Green

As the 2016-17 women's basketball regular season draws to a close, Alan York of the Liberty Flames Sports Network caught up with freshman post player Keyen Green.
The Lady Flames' leading scorer (11.9 ppg) and rebounder (7.9 rpg), Green has equaled a conference record by winning seven Big South Freshman of the Week awards this season. The Philadelphia native ranks No. 6 nationally among freshmen for rebounding and is the first Liberty freshman to grab 200 rebounds since Ashley Rininger in 2012-13.
Green and the Lady Flames are currently tied with High Point for third place in the Big South standings at 10-5 with three regular-season games remaining. Liberty will travel to Winthrop Saturday at 1 p.m. before returning to the Vines Center to host defending conference champion UNC Asheville Monday at 7 p.m.
