2015 Big South WBB Championship Preview

As the Liberty women's basketball team prepares for its opening game at the 2015 VisitMyrtleBeach.com Big South Women's Basketball Championship, Alan York of the Liberty Flames Sports Network caught up with head coach Carey Green to preview the tournament.
No. 1 seed Liberty will face No. 8 seed UNC Asheville in a quarterfinal tilt, Thursday at noon inside The HTC Center. The victor will move on to meet either No. 4 seed Winthrop or No. 5 seed Campbell in the semifinals, Saturday at 6 p.m. The championship game is slated for Sunday at 5 p.m.
The Lady Flames enter the tournament at 23-6 overall and 19-1 in Big South play. Liberty won 11 straight games to close out the regular season, wrapping up its 15th Big South regular-season title in 18 years.
