Adams Previews Battle with Blue Hose

Before the Liberty women's basketball team departs for Clinton, S.C., Alan York of the Liberty Flames Sports Network caught up with redshirt junior post player Katelyn Adams.
Adams and the Big South-leading Lady Flames (18-6, 14-1 Big South) will play at Presbyterian Saturday at 5 p.m. in a battle between the conference's top two defensive squads. Liberty posted a 59-42 home victory over the Blue Hose on Jan. 5.
The Templeton Center has been a tough venue for opposing teams in 2014-15, as PC boasts a 10-1 home record. Last season, Liberty suffered its first-ever loss in Clinton, as Presbyterian defeated the Lady Flames by a 46-43 count on Feb. 13, 2014.
Adams has been playing well of late, averaging 10.5 ppg and 8.5 rpg during the last two contests. The Minnesota native now ranks No. 19 in program history with 537 career rebounds.
