Lady Flames Set to Face Cal in NorPac Semifinals

The Liberty Lady Flames field hockey squad will take on the No. 2 seed in the NorPac West Division, California in the 2014 NorPac Tournament semifinals, Friday at 2:30 p.m. ET at the Field Hockey Turf on the campus of University of the Pacific.
The Golden Bears are coming off of a 3-1 quarterfinals victory against No. 3E Appalachian State on Thursday afternoon.
Last season, the Lady Flames and Golden Bears squared off twice, splitting the series at one game apiece. Cal was able to upend Liberty in Berkeley, Calif., by a score of 1-0 on Sept. 8, 2013. However, Liberty won the second meeting between the two squads, advancing into the NorPac semifinals after a 3-1 victory on Nov. 7 at Liberty Field Hockey Field.
