
Former Flame Nets Goal Against Chivas USA

Former Liberty Flames men's soccer standout Joshua Boateng scored one of Universidad de Guadalajara two goals in a 2-1 victory over Chivas USA in Guadalajara, Mexico, Tuesday.
Boateng, who played for the Flames from 2006-08, gave Universidad de Guadalajara the lead in the 33rd minute. The forward headed in the contest's first goal off a corner kick.
After Chivas USA tied the contest in the 43rd minute, Universidad de Guadalajara netted the game-winner in the 55th minute for the victory.
Boateng was selected a NSCAA/adidas All-American in 2008, becoming the first Liberty player to earn inclusion to a Division I All-American team.
