Zach Hopkins stepped into his position as Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer in July 2020. In his current role, Hopkins assists with the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation for the Liberty men’s soccer and men’s tennis squads.
Prior to coming to Liberty, Hopkins worked as an athletic training student intern for two seasons with the Kansas City Comets. He also worked as an athletic training student intern with the Orlando City Soccer Club in Orlando, Fla., in summer 2019.
Hopkins earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Missouri in May 2020 and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in exercise science and wellness with a specialization in fitness and performance, with expected graduation date of May 2022.
Hopkins currently resides in Lynchburg.
