Kelly Scott assumed her role as Assistant Student-Athlete Development and Engagement Coordinator in Aug. 2024.
In her current role, she serves as an academic coordinator for the men’s tennis and men’s golf program’s. Additionally, she helps lead the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Scott plans and runs events tailored towards student-athlete personal development as well as community outreach.
Scott was a four-year student-athlete at Liberty, competing on the women’s lacrosse team from fall 2020-spring 2024. She was tabbed to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll in 2023 and 2024 and earned CSC Academic All-District® team honors in 2024. Scott was also a four-time ASUN Academic Honor Roll recipient. She finished her four-year career with 55 goals, 23 assists, 78 points, 41 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and four draw controls. Scott scored 26 goals in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons and notched a career-high 40 points (26 g, 14 a) during the 2023 campaign.
Scott graduated from Liberty in Dec. 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport management: sport administration, which she expects to complete in May 2025.
Scott also gained experience working in college athletics as a Recruiting Assistant with Georgia Tech Football in summer 2023. She also served as a Recruiting Assistant for the Nevada Football squad during the summer of 2023.
Originally from Roswell, Ga., Scott currently resides in Lynchburg.
