Emily Duff returned to the Liberty swimming & diving program during the summer of 2015, currently serving as an undergraduate student assistant.
Duff, a native of Clayton, N.C., completed a standout four-year career for the Lady Flames. Combining excellence in the pool and classroom, Duff earned CSCAA Scholar All-America honorable mention three times. She swam NCAA B cuts in the 200 back at the CCSA Championships in 2013, 2014 and 2015, including a program-record 1:56.50 as a senior. Her efforts helped the Lady Flames earn their first-ever conference championship, as Liberty claimed the 2014 CCSA Championship title.
Duff achieved seven career CCSA podium finishes, second in program history to Brye Ravettine’s eight. She finished top three in the 200 back each of her four years, including second place as a sophomore, junior and senior. Upon completion of her collegiate career in 2015, Duff held program records in the 200 back (1:56.50) and 400 individual medley (4:19.56), while also swimming on Liberty’s school-record 800 free relay (7:17.75) in 2014.
Duff currently resides in Lynchburg. She is currently in her fifth year at Liberty, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
