Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
Liberty University is the right place for me because of the people here. Everyone is so kind, fun, and Christ-like, and I adore my teammates and friends more than anything.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
We have an hour-long dance party pregame, and ice baths are always postgame. Our team loves dancing, singing, and performing almost as much as we love lacrosse.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My older sister Andrea is my inspiration. She played lacrosse for 5 years at Liberty and was an absolute star. She maintained a 4.0 GPA all 5 years while absolutely crushing team challenges, going hard at practices, and being a force to be reckon with in games. She is so hardworking and has such an incredible mindset and attitude. She paved the way for me.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
My most memorable athletic accomplishment was when my best friend Ava Rajala and I were named to the ASUN All-Tournament team after playing in the ASUN semi-finals against Jacksonville. It was such an intense and fun game!
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I picked number 18 because I wanted a number I have never had before, and that wasn’t used within my family so that I could really make it my own.
Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
My sister, Andrea Colavito. She played lacrosse at Liberty University for 5 years.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
Dinner all the way. The meal is grass-fed steak, sweet potatoes, and salad.
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I check my messages.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
Working out, cooking, doing puzzles, and arts and crafts.
Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
I have two dogs, Rocky and Cache.
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
I didn’t really have one! Probably my siblings!
What is your favorite possession and why?
My bag of Celtic Sea salt. I put it in my water, my food, everything. It’s a necessity.
What is your Go-To karaoke song?
Either Irreplaceable by Beyoncé or Your Love Is My Drug by Kesha. But if Drake or Chris Brown comes on, I’m taking the mic.
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
