- Missed the season's first eight games due to a wrist injury
- Led the team in scoring in each of her first two games of the season, notching 12 points against Seton Hall (Dec. 12) and seven points at Duke (Dec. 17)
- Tallied 19 of her season-high 21 points during the second half at Radford (Jan. 2), including 13 during the third quarter. Sanders tied her career high with four triples and clinched the win with a free throw with 6.6 seconds remaining.
