After joining the Liberty women’s basketball staff in 2015-16 as an intern, Kevin Clark II has been promoted to graduate assistant this season. He will recruit and manage the practice squad, take care of all video needs, manage the program's presence on social media and assist with day-to-day operations.
In his role as intern, Clark II assisted former graduate assistant Joyous Tharrington in fulfilling the team’s video needs, as well as taking care of other day-to-day tasks in the women’s basketball office.
Clark II worked with both Liberty basketball teams during his time as a student, serving as a practice player for the women’s squad and a manager for the men’s team. He additionally served as an assistant varsity and junior varsity boys’ basketball coach at Liberty Christian Academy in 2014-15 and coached AAU basketball for three years.
Clark II played two years of college basketball, including a season each at Southern Connecticut State (2011-12) and Eastern (2012-13). Prior to that, he scored over 1,000 points as a four-year starter at Christian Heritage School, helping his team capture the 2011 National Christian Invitational Tournament title.
A native of Trumbull, Conn., Clark II completed his bachelor’s degree in sport management in 2015. He is currently pursuing an MBA degree.
