Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
The Christian community was one of the biggest reasons contributing to my attendance at Liberty. The coaches and other staff as well as the students/athletes were a clear factor into the future of my life, they are truly amazing.
Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
I pray that God would protect all the athletes that are performing that day, and that we all run to the best of our ability, and that I would run for God’s glory alone.
Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My Mom inspires me, she has supported me in every aspect of my life. Without her, I would not be here, and I would not be the man that I have become.
What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
Earning my spot in the Texas State championships, when all odds were against me.
If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I would choose 84 because it’s my old football number.
Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
Free meals are my favorite because they’re free!
What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I check my iMessages.
What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
Hanging out with friends.
Who was your favorite athlete growing up?
Karsten Warholm
What is your favorite possession and why?
Youth Ministry, it’s so important to show the truth of the gospel during this influential part of people’s lives.
What is your Go-To karaoke song?
Pure imagination
What is your dream vacation spot and why?
Hawaii because it brings back nostalgia of past trips of my youth.
