2011 (R-Jr.): Made his Liberty track debut at the Liberty Kickoff, placing ninth in the 400 with a 52.51 clocking … finished 12th in the 400-meter dash heats at the Big South indoor meet … top outdoor event was the 400 hurdles … a season-best 55.41 clocking qualified him for the Big South 400 hurdles final, where he placed seventh … made the Big South Presidential Honor Roll.
2010 (Jr.): Sat out the 2009-10 indoor and outdoor seasons after transferring from Birmingham-Southern … made the Big South Presidential Honor Roll.
Previous School: Spent two years at Birmingham-Southern … set the school record in the 400-meter hurdles with a 54.86.
Prep: Graduated from Briarwood Christian School … as a senior, he helped his team win the Alabama 5A state title in the 4 x 400 relay and placed second in the 300 hurdles … three-time all-state performer in Alabama … also played football, tallying 400 receiving yards and five touchdowns as a senior … averaged more than 20 yards per catch during his senior campaign.
