2011 (Jr.): Earned All-Big South honors in the 400 hurdles for the second straight year, thanks to a runner-up finish at the outdoor conference meet … her personal-best time of 1:02.62 in that race puts her No. 8 in program history … won the 400 hurdles title at the Radford Invitational … competed in the 4 x 400 relay at the ECAC outdoor meet … qualified for two event finals at the Big South indoor meet, claiming sixth place in the 400 and seventh place in the 200 … made the Big South Presidential Honor Roll for the third time.
2010 (So.): Finished seventh in the Big South indoor long jump, thanks to a season-best 17-11.75 leap … at the Big South outdoor championship, came in third in the 400 hurdles and seventh in the long jump … ran both the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relays at the ECAC outdoor meet, placing seventh in the 4 x 100 … won the long jump at the Washington & Lee Track & Field Carnival with a meet-record leap of 18-1 … Big South Presidential Honor Roll member.
2009 (Fr.): Took eighth place in the Big South outdoor long jump … long jumped a season-best 17-8 at the Lynchburg Invitational … Big South Presidential Honor Roll.
Prep: Graduated from Cleveland Heights High School … competed for South Florida Home Education Athletic Teams (SF HEAT) her first three years of high school …three-time co-captain for SF HEAT and two-time team performer of the year.
Personal: Daughter of Robert and Teresa Sims … nursing major … birthday is Aug. 28.
