Student-Athlete Q&A
What made Liberty University the right place for you to attend college/compete at the collegiate level?
I wanted to be somewhere in which God was the center and where I would be around like-minded believers! The facilities are the best of the best and the people are even better.

Is there anything special you do pregame or postgame and why?
Not really. I do like to eat the same thing before games which is a smoothie bowl consisting of frozen bananas, berries, milk, and topped with granola and honey. Sometimes I’ll eat eggs pregame also if I’m extra hungry. Other than that, I’m not very superstitious.

Who in your life inspires you and why are they such an inspiration?
My mom inspires me because of her faith walk, work ethic, loving and compassionate heart, and selfless character.

What is your most memorable athletic moment/accomplishment?
When I scored against Georgia, it was such a surreal moment.

If you picked your jersey/uniform number, why is that number important to you?
I wear number 5 because it’s been my number all my life. My brothers always wore number 5 also.

Do you have any relatives who are playing or have played college or professional sports? (Names, relation to you, what/where they played)?
Eli Garner played at UNC in 2009, and UNCG 2010-2011. Duke Garner played at UNCG.

Favorite meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and what is that special meal?
Dinner is my favorite meal, specifically steak.

What is the first app you check on your phone each day?
I check my messages in the morning first usually.

What is your favorite hobby outside of athletics?
Sewing is my favorite hobby outside of sports.

Do you have any current pets (name and type of animal)?
I have a Pitbull, named Zeus.

What is your favorite possession and why?
My sewing machine is my favorite possession because I love to sew and create different things!

What is your dream vacation spot and why?
Greece is my dream vacation because of the clear water, yummy food and beautiful landscape.
