Time now for Today's Liberty Flames Minute! Brought to you by Select Bank for this Friday, December 29, 2023, I'm Nick Pierce.
Beginning with an update in Arizona on Flames football at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl. Thursday, select players met with the media and the team practiced for two hours in Tempe at the Los Angeles Angels minor league and spring training complex. The entire team also enjoyed dinner at Fogo de Chao – a Brazilian steakhouse. Wide receiver CJ Daniels says that bonding and time together makes the trip special.
No. 23 Liberty meets No. 8 Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl at State Farm Stadium on Monday at 1 p.m. Eastern.
And tonight, in women's hoops, Liberty hosts Randolph at seven o'clock at Liberty Arena in Lynchburg. Liberty's next three games are at home, including Sunday's big match-up with Tennessee. That game tips off at 2 p.m.
