Liberty and VMI's contest on Tuesday will be the 26th all-time meeting between the two teams. The Flames and Keydets have squared off each of the last 15 seasons. Liberty holds a 21-2-2 record all-time vs. VMI. Each team is team is a former member of the Big South Conference.
The Flames will be taking to the road for the first time in 2018 on Tuesday. Liberty will play eight games away from Osborne Stadium this season.
Liberty is in its first season as a member of the ASUN Conference. The Flames will play their first ASUN contest on Sept. 13 at Stetson.
On Friday night, Liberty drew over 1,000 fans (1,056) to Osborne Stadium for the first time since Sept. 2, 2016. That evening, 1,218 fans were in attendance for a match against William & Mary.

Matthew Zacyzk scored the game-winning goal, Friday. The goal was the second of his career and his first collegiate game-winning goal.
Rigo Rojas netted Liberty's first goal of the season during the 8^th minute of play, Friday.
Liberty goalkeeper Brogen Engbers made his first collegiate start on Friday. The freshman recorded three saves.
