
Wake Forest Slips Past Liberty 7-5

After visiting Wake Forest pushed a run across in the top of the fifth inning to take a 6-5 advantage, the Demon Deacon bullpen took over, holding Liberty scoreless over the final five innings to secure the victory.
Liberty designated hitter Riley DeCandido went 3-for-4 with a walk and scored a run to lead all hitters in the game.
Liberty drops to 36-17 on the season. The Flames have lost four of their last five games. Wake Forest wins its eighth straight game, moving to 36-17 on the season.
