
Lacrosse Features Six Named to the 2026 ASUN All-Academic Team

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty Lacrosse featured six Lady Flames on the 2025-26 Academic All-Atlantic Sun team. Katie Colavito, Karlie Hickson, Rachel Hines, Madeleine Klunder, Kendall Nye and Kate Troutman each excelled both on the field and off to be recognized on the academic team.
To qualify for the team, undergraduate student-athletes must have a cumulative 3.50 GPA, have participated in 50 percent of contests during the season, have completed four semesters of college coursework or 50 percent of progress towards a degree and have one year of residence at the institution. Student-athletes in post-graduate programs must have a cumulative 3.50 GPA and have participated in 50% of contests during the season.
Each ASUN program featured up to six student-athletes for inclusion on the Academic All-ASUN list.
Colavito represents the only Lady Flame to receive the honor for a second time, previously named to the team in 2025.
No. 3 seed Liberty (7-10, 5-3 ASUN) prepares to open the 2026 ASUN Women's Lacrosse Championship in the first round against No. 6 seed Kennesaw State (8-9, 3-5 ASUN). The contest is set for a 6 p.m. start at Rock Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
