Liberty's Ike Joy continues to provide the Flames with consistency both on the course and in the classroom, as he has once again been named to the CUSA Men's Golf All-Academic team.
The graduate student is making his second-straight appearance on the CUSA Men's Golf All-Academic team. He is joined on this year's squad by MTSU's Connor Henry and Carter Maneth, Jax State's Ryley Heath and Kennesaw State's Shaun Cook.
Joy is no stranger to academic honors in his Liberty career. He has twice been named to the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll and is a two-time recipient of the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal. Additionally, Joy has been named to the past two Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar teams.
On the course, Joy ranks third on the team with a 72.10 season stroke average. He has been a starting member of Liberty's lineup in all 10 events during the 2025-26 season with a counting scores average of 96.6 percent (28-of-29 rounds).
The native of Denver, N.C., has played 14-of-29 rounds at par or better this season (48.3 percent) and has posted four sub-70 rounds.
Last year, Joy put together the best individual season of his five-year career. He was named to the CUSA All-Conference first team and the PING All-Region East team. His successful season allowed him to individually qualify for the NCAA Regionals as an at-large selection.
Joy and the Flames will look to claim their second CUSA Men's Golf Championship next week at the 2026 Conference USA Men's Golf Championship (April 27-30 - Texarkana Country Club/Texarkana, Ark.)
