
Liberty to Take On Charlotte, William & Mary this Weekend

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Liberty women's team (11-5) prepares for matches on back-to-back days in Williamsburg, Va., this weekend. The Lady Flames will initially face No. 29 Charlotte on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in a neutral-site match before taking on William & Mary on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Liberty enjoyed a 7-0 sweep on the road at Longwood on Monday in its last appearance on the court.
The Lady Flames will be taking on a ranked opponent for the second time this season. Liberty took on No. 4 Auburn in its second match of the season on the road, falling 7-0.
Liberty looks to improve on a 3-5 all-time record against the 49ers. The team suffered a 4-0 loss on the road last season. They hope to continue rolling against the Tribe with a 4-1 all-time record against William & Mary.
The Lady Flames are currently 2-1 on a stretch of eight consecutive road matches to wrap the regular season.
