• Liberty is 9-4 at Worthington Field at Liberty Stadium this season. The Flames start the year with 14 of their first 20 games at home.
• The Flames posted a 20-13 record at the facility last season. Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium also hosted the 2025 CUSA Baseball Championship.
• Since the facility opened in 2013, Liberty has posted a 260-111 (.701) record at the stadium.
Flames Hit a Season-High 5 Home Runs at UNCG
• Catcher Tucker Moore and first baseman Riley DeCandido each hit two home runs as the Liberty Flames belted a season-high five home runs in a 12-10 victory over the UNCG Spartans at UNCG Baseball Stadium this past Tuesday. With the victory, the Flames push their winning streak to 10 games.
• Liberty hit five home runs in a game for the first time since a 12-4 victory at No.17 Duke on Feb. 26, 2025.
• Moore and DeCandido each hit a two-run and a solo home run in the contest, driving in three runs apiece. Each Flame has now hit three home runs on the season.Â
• Liberty center fielder Josh Campos also hit his third home run of the year. Moore and Campos went back-to-back in the fifth inning.
• Flames shortstop Tanner Marsh went 4-for-6 with a run scored and two stolen bases to pace Liberty at the plate. It was his first four-hit game of the season and fifth multi-hit game of the year
.• Left fielder Nick Barone went 3-for-4 with two walks and two RBI. He also scored three times for Liberty.
Marsh Off to Good Start in 2026
• Liberty starting shortstop Tanner Marsh was the Flames' top returning offensive threat from the 2025 season and he has started 2026 by sparking the Liberty offense once again.
• The junior leads the Flames with a .347 batting average, 16 RBI and 18 runs scored. He also tops Liberty with 25 hits, an OBP of .461 and nine stolen bases.
• The infielder enters the week with a 15-game hitting streak, a new career high for the junior. In addition, he has reached base in all 18 games this season.
• This past Tuesday, he posted his first four-hit game of the year in Liberty's 12-10 victory at UNCG.
• Marsh has started every game at shortstop for the Flames since joining the Liberty roster in 2024.Â
• Last season, the infielder hit .295 with 52 runs scored, 22 RBI, 11 doubles, and two home runs in 56 games.Â
• He also stole a team-high 18 bases and led the Flames with 21 multi-hit games.Â
• The Asheboro, N.C., native walked 32 times and posted a .378 on-base percentage.
