MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Liberty sophomore Camden Anders tossed her first career no-hitter, as Liberty earned a 9-0, five-inning win over Middle Tennessee on Saturday at Blue Raider Softball Field.
The Lady Flames (10-15, 3-2 CUSA) earned the series victory with a pair of run-rule shutouts in the first two games. Meanwhile, the Blue Raiders fall to 12-12, 3-2 in CUSA play.

- Liberty scored in each of the first four innings, building a 9-0 lead after a three-run fourth.
- Anders faced just two batters over the minimum, and put an exclamation point on the no-hitter with a strikeout to end a 1-2-3 fifth.
- The Lady Flames led 10-0 in hits, with Middle Tennessee committing three errors.
- Anders (4-1) pitched her first career no-hitter, walking two and striking out a career-high six.
- Mary Martinez (2-4) drew the loss, allowing five runs on five hits, walking one in 1 2/3 innings. Tori Coffman and Elle Hildreth both pitched in relief.
- Alexia Carrasquillo batted 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and one run scored. Savannah Jessee went 2-for-3 with a homer, three RBI and one run. Bryn McManus, Paige Doerr and Savanah Whatley all doubled for Liberty.
- Liberty is now 10-4 all-time against Middle Tennessee in softball, including 7-1 since the Lady Flames joining Conference USA.
- Anders tossed the 24th no-hitter in Liberty's NCAA Division I era and first since Katie Love no-hit Jacksonville State on March 16, 2024.
- This is the ninth time in program history that Liberty has posted shutouts in each of the first two games of a conference series and first since May 2-3, 2025 against FIU.
- Prior to this weekend, the last time Liberty earned back-to-back run-rule victories to start a conference series was April 25, 2021, a doubleheader against Bellarmine.
- After hitting seven total homers as a team over the first 20 games this season, Liberty has hit eight homers in the last five games.
