Turning Point
- Liberty scored in each of the first four innings, building a 9-0 lead after a three-run fourth.
- Anders faced just two batters over the minimum, and put an exclamation point on the no-hitter with a strikeout to end a 1-2-3 fifth.
- The Lady Flames led 10-0 in hits, with Middle Tennessee committing three errors.
- Anders (4-1) pitched her first career no-hitter, walking two and striking out a career-high six.
- Mary Martinez (2-4) drew the loss, allowing five runs on five hits, walking one in 1 2/3 innings. Tori Coffman and Elle Hildreth both pitched in relief.
- Alexia Carrasquillo batted 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and one run scored. Savannah Jessee went 2-for-3 with a homer, three RBI and one run. Bryn McManus, Paige Doerr and Savanah Whatley all doubled for Liberty.
